Natural ingredients are non-toxic, non-allergenic and do the job as good as most expensive cleaning products on the market today. They are natural products and leave a fresh, natural aroma to the area.

Essential oils can be used together, or on their own depending on your preferred aroma. You can also use other essential oils of your choice. Use 100% essential oils. Do not use fragrant oils, they are cheap and toxic.
Here are some of the recipes I use every day:

The Kitchen and Floors
The Oven:
Bicarb Soda
Pinch of salt
Water
Method: Make a paste and apply to the surface areas. Leave overnight. Clean off with a damp cloth in the morning. The Bicarb Soda also deodorizers.
Floor Cleaner:
Vinegar
Water
Castile Soap or dishwashing liquid
Optional: 10 drops of essential oil.
Method: Add vinegar and soap to a bucket of water. Mop floor as usual. The vinegar brings a beautiful shine to wooden floors.
Carpet Deodorizer:
Bicarb Soda
Spead over carpet and leave for one hour, then vacuum up.

Bathroom Cleaner Surfaces:
This inexpensive cleaner is excellent for bath tubs, sinks and taps.
Bicarb Soda
Water
Essential oils of your choice.
Method: Make a paste with the ingredients and apply to the area with a cloth or non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn areas add a teaspoon of castile soap or dishwashing liquid.
The shower:
Bicarb Soda
Vinegar
Clove oil
Method: mix ingredients together to make a paste and add a few drops of clove oil to kill mold.
Bi carb soda is a deodorizer and vinegar is a natural non-toxic acid that helps to breakdown mold spore. Vinegar is anti-microbial, meaning it kills microorganisms, such as bacteria and mold.

Stain Remover:
Vinegar is fabulous for removing ink stains from carpet. Simply apply vinegar to a cloth and rub on the effected area. For stubborn stains rinse cloth and apply several times to the affected area. It can also remove stains such as wine, coffee, tea, blood, rust, bleach and many more.
These simple methods will not only save you money, but they are non-toxic and efficient. The essential oils also leave a fresh, welcoming aroma to your house.
All Purpose Surface spray
250mls of water
1 teaspoon castile liquid soap
20- 30 drops of essential oil
Method: Add all ingredients to a spray bottle. Shake and use on any surface for a non-abrasive, fresh and clean look.
Eucalyptus oil is antibacterial and can help inhibit bacterial growth.
Peppermint oil has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties.
Lavender Oil has antibacterial properties, anti-fungal and antiseptic properties.
All oils are great for deodorizing.
The toilet:
1 cup of Vinegar
2 teaspoons of Castile soap
10 drops of Eucalypt oil
2 cups of Water
Method: Add all ingredients together in a bottle. Spray and wipe. For inside the toilet spray and use toilet brush to clean. For stubborn stains pour half a cup of vinegar in the toilet bowl and leave overnight. The stains will disappear. It works wonders.
